PCMS Sewing Club

The PCMS Sewing Club will meet every Wednesday from 4:10–5:10 p.m., starting Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026.

Important Details:

  • Pickup Time: Please ensure students are picked up promptly by 5:15 p.m.
  • Membership Limit: Enrollment is limited to 16 students on a strict first-come, first-served basis.
  • How to Register: Register for Sewing Club here
  • Next Steps: The first 16 registered students will be contacted. The supply fee will be due at the first meeting on Sept. 23.

Our club will focus on building confidence, creativity, fine motor skills, and basic sewing skills in a fun and supportive environment. Students will learn sewing techniques while completing projects at a comfortable pace. Most of our time will be spent learning to sew by hand.

We will begin with projects chosen by Mrs. Pucci. As students gain experience and confidence, they will have opportunities to choose their own projects based on their skill level.

Sewing Supplies

Having the right tools is important when learning to sew. There will be a $30 supply fee to participate in the club. This fee will provide each student with a complete sewing kit. Students will not be able to participate without this sewing kit.

If needed, students will receive a small bag to keep their supplies in. However, it is recommended that students purchase a craft tackle box with folding trays to keep their sewing supplies organized. Boxes with lift-out trays are not recommended.

A suggested tackle box from Amazon is pictured/listed here:

Please be aware that after our first few projects are completed, students will need to purchase thread and fabric to complete their personal projects.

I’m excited to work with your student and hope this turns into a life-long love of sewing!

Thank you,

Mrs. Pucci
